What is it the samba of Brazil or Brazil samba? The mix trade, popular manifestation where and businesses, people and trade are the main protagonists of the event to all parents for almost a week.

Carnival is considered one of the most entertaining popular festivals and representative of the world. It has its origin in Portuguese Shrovetide, where in the past people played one another, water, eggs and flour. The Shrovetide happened in the period before Lent and therefore had a significance attached to freedom. This sense remains to this day the Carnival.  History of Carnival.

In the late nineteenth century, needed begin to appear the first carnival blocks, cords and the famous "Corsicans". The latter became popular in the early twentieth centuries. People fantasized, decorated their cars, and groups paraded through the city streets. There is the origin of the allegorical, typical of today's samba schools cars.

 In the twentieth century, the carnival was growing and becoming an increasingly popular party. This growth occurred with the help of carnival music. The samba songs left the increasingly lively carnival.

 The first samba school appeared in Rio de Janeiro and was called Let’s Talk. It was created by carioca samba called Ismael Silva. Years later Let’s Talk became the Estacio de Sa samba school. From there (1968), the street carnival begins to gain a new format. They begin to emerge new samba schools in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. Organized in Samba Schools alloys, the first championships begin to find what samba school was more beautiful and lively.

The street carnival maintained their original traditions in northeastern Brazil. In cities like Recife and Olinda, people leave the streets during Carnival in the rhythm of frevo and maracatu.

Interesting and good sentence! The parade of giant puppets in Recife, is one of the main attractions of this city during the carnival.

 In the city of Salvador, there are electric trios, rocked by dance songs of singers and group typical of the region. The city also stand out the black blocks as Olodum and Ileyaê, in addition to street blocks and Afoxé Filhos de Gandhi.

Did you know?

The Carnival costumes more used during the Brazilian party come from characters of the popular theater of Italian comedy of the sixteenth to the eighteenth. They are: Pierrot, Columbine and Harlequin.

The Guinness Book of World Records presents the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro as the world's largest. According to the book, the popular festival has the participation of about 2 million revelers per day.
